In the studio we discover and train your unique voice so you are empowered to sing with confidence.
If you are here, you (or someone you care about) probably wants voice lessons! You are in the right place. Your aims will be specific to what moves you as a budding musician or as a seasoned musician desiring to polish things up a bit. I am here to guide you!
Teaching Philosophy
Singers are treated with respect and are guided on their vocal journey with joy, consideration of their musical tastes, and tons of professional experience. Mutual respect and encouragement of developing actionable habits are cornerstones of the Studio. Together we will make strides in strengthening the elements of a healthy singing voice and creating a confident performer.
Private Voice Lessons
Weekly voice lessons, one-on-one instruction, in person OR virtual format. Includes weekly lesson notes, Google Drive materials access, audio files, tech-enhanced learning and musicianship skills as they pertain to the individual.
Group Theory Lessons
Small group theory sessions online in four 1-hour blocks. Four students maximum per-class. Students learn the fundamentals of music and apply them to singing. You’ll get custom worksheets, audio examples, and practice guides. Students move through the theory components with playful instruction AND community.
Audition Workshop
Students will refine their audition materials for this season’s NYC High School Audition Submissions. In front of a small group of peers, they’ll navigate performing in front of the camera, check on the preparation of their materials, gain valuable knowledge about auditioning, and more!
Students will receive their tapes for review after the workshop.
